John's spec piece Player Two went viral to the tune of several million views, with pickups in Adweek, Shots, Mashable, Business Insider, and Esquire among others. That film opened the door to directing for brands including Hyundai, the NFL, Microsoft, Wells Fargo, and Eli Lilly. His spots tend toward emotional, story-driven work built on the same instincts he brings to his screenwriting.

On the narrative side, John's writing has been featured on the annual Black List. He has developed projects with both studios and independent producers including Amazon MGM, 87North, Agbo, Roth/Kirschenbaum, and Chronology, and is currently developing his feature directorial debut.
